Friday, July 10, the Rotary Club of Atlanta West End is pleased to welcome Cameron Turner, Executive Director of Atlanta Children's Day Shelter, as our program speaker. Cameron is a seasoned nonprofit leader whose work is dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness build brighter futures through education, housing stability, employment support, and behavioral health services. As Executive Director, she leads the organization's strategic vision while fostering partnerships that expand opportunities for children and families across metro Atlanta.
With more than 24 years of service to Atlanta and North Georgia's most vulnerable communities, Cameron has held leadership roles with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Atlanta Mission, where she developed expertise in fundraising, strategic planning, and program development. She holds a degree in Nonprofit Administration from Kennesaw State University, is a Certified Nonprofit Professional, and is an ELPNO Fellow through the University of Georgia. We look forward to hearing Cameron share her insights on collaboration, community impact, and the vital work being done to help families break the cycle of homelessness.
