6000 Waiting: Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion - March 11, 2021 @ 7:30PM

Frazer Center hosts an online screening of 6000 Waiting, a documentary film telling the powerful stories of three Georgians with developmental disabilities whose lives are significantly impacted by the staggering lack and complexity of state Medicaid waiver funding.

Getting to the top of Georgia’s Medicaid waiver waiting list can take five to ten years or longer. That means, once a person with a disability graduates from high school, usually at age 21, unless that person and their family have enough money to pay for support services, they go without.

Join this important film and panel discussion, and learn how you can be part of the solution.

Everyone, with or without disabilities, deserves to live a life of meaning and dignity.

The film lasts about 30 minutes and will be followed by a brief panel discussion and Q&A session.
