He is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Atlanta West End, Fayetteville and Midtown Atlanta. This sponsorship has reignited a 21-year old flame between GRSP and Morehouse College! Jordan was born and raised in Yaounde, Cameroon. He credits his family's love, guidance, and shared experiences for shaping his values of empathy and generosity, fueling his aspirations for personal and professional growth, and inspiring him to strive for a meaningful and fulfilling life. Jordan has a special interest in learning new coding languages and intends to pursue a career in software engineering. Jordan enjoys hiking, playing basketball, listening to music and hanging out with my friends during social events. In high school, Jordan was the president of the BSU (Black Student Union), NAACP Youth Council Vice President. In college, Jordan has been Secretary of a college Ping Pong Club and a college tennis team player. Jordan was on the Dean's list for the academic year 2021-2021 and 2022-2023, and received the Jessy Cortez 2021 scholarship award from his high school. One of Jordan's goals is to become a role model for and encourage his siblings and many other children around the world to pursue their education. He plans to earn a Masters Degree and PhD in computer science. He wants to bring about development and technological advancement to remote parts of the World, including his home country Cameroon by creating Apps like Uber for use in those countries. Jordan is a member of Friendship Baptist church in Atlanta, Georgia and was a volunteer for the Third Baptist Freedom School in San Francisco, California. | 8 |
9 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 14 12:15p Tracy Xu and Daniel Kuhlman, Engineers Without Borders Tracy Xu is a mechanical engineering major with a chemistry minor at Georgia Tech. As the technical lead of EWB-GT’s Ecuador project for the past two years and former project lead, she has played a key role in developing sustainable infrastructure solutions. Her work reflects a strong commitment to global development and community-driven engineering, integrating her expertise in battery research, hydropower, and solar technology to create lasting impact. Daniel Kuhlman is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and currently completing his masters degree in mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech. At Tech, Daniel has been active with EWB-GT's Ecuador project since its inception, helps lead backpacking trips throughout the Southeast with ORGT, and is part of an on-campus Christian ministry. Upon graduation in December, Daniel will attend the U.S. Naval Officer Candidate School to begin his career as a submarine officer.

She believes in creating an accessible and equitable world for people with disabilities, which she brings to fruition through community engagement and the workplace. Carden is an experienced digital accessibility trailblazer with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit and tech industry driving change for people with disabilities. She is a strong business development professional with a BSA focused in Biological Sciences and Environmental Health Science from The University of Georgia. Carden is currently at Salesforce and is a Principal Accessibility Team Lead & Senior Accessibility Support Engineer & former ERG Global AbilityForce President. Since joining Salesforce in 2016, on top of her day job, she has helped drive disability inclusion and awareness as the Global President for Salesforce's employee resource group for disabilities and its allies; curate an accessible events playbook for Salesforce events Dreamforce/ TrailheaDX/ World Tours; ignite conversations for Salesforce real estate universal design strategy and its travel/ safety guide; drive initial discussions for a disability tech support answer desk; and co-wrote the long range plan for corporate accessibility which created Saleforce’s Office of Accessibility. They believe that together they can become a barrier free work environment so all can thrive, and welcome you on their journey towards inclusion for all. Carden recently became a member of the Disability Advisory Board for Delta Air Lines. She also just transitioned from the MARTA Army, Inc. Board after 6 years. Carden is also a Strategic Advisor for Midtown Alliance and Chair of the city’s Human Relations Commission which was established over 20 years ago, and made a priority under Mayor Dickens, to promote mutual respect and understanding within the city of Atlanta. In her spare time, Carden advocates for transit equity, complete streets, Vision Zero and accessibility rights with local Atlanta government and advocacy orgs. She has also scaled a few mountains on piggyback to raise awareness for FSHD muscular dystrophy, inspired a children's book entitled “Carden: The Wheelchair Warrior”, a story of whimsy, courage and individuality which you can find on Amazon, and hosted a podcast named "Freewheelin' with Carden". | 22 |
