In spring 2025, the Atlanta West End Rotary Club hosted its Inaugural Interfaith Fellowship and Prayer Breakfast, an initiative conceived by AWER Treasurer and Past President Rose Caplan. The gathering brought together faith leaders, civic partners, and community members to build trust, affirm shared values, and explore collaboration grounded in service and the Rotary Four-Way Test.

The breakfast revealed strong interest in continued dialogue and coordinated action, particularly around the health of West End business corridors and the needs of unhoused neighbors. Myrna Fuller, President of the West End Merchants Coalition (WEMC), attended the breakfast and played a key role in advancing the work from fellowship into execution. Leveraging WEMC’s organizing capacity and Business Watch framework, she helped translate shared purpose into structured collaboration.

This momentum culminated in the inaugural meeting of the West End / Westview Interfaith Council on December 16, 2025. The Council represents a transition from convening to mission-driven coordination, with the Atlanta West End Rotary Club proud to have served as a catalyst and ongoing partner with a seat on the Council.
