Linda J. Davidson joined the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter in June, 2017 as the Executive Director. Ms. Davidson was the former Senior Director of Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society, (ACS).
Davidson comes to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter with nearly 30 years’ experience in nonprofit operations. In a career spanning locations in Florida and Georgia, she has a proven track record of effective team leadership and a sound portfolio of donor management. After 16 years of successive growth leading the Florida Division of ACS, Davidson moved to Atlanta in 2013 and led ACS’ South Atlantic Division in revenue garnered from organization events. Linda resides in Atlanta and enjoys traveling and time with her family.
The Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter is the leading volunteer health organization in Alzheimer’s disease care - serving 159 counties in Georgia with offices in Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Dalton, Macon, Savannah and Tifton. Our chapter has been serving Georgia communities since 1982 by providing local support groups, education classes and other local resources. Currently there are 150,000 Georgian's living with Alzheimer's and another 533,000 unpaid caregivers. The Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter can help you in many ways.
