GRSP scholar Jordan Laurent NoeukuAdd Guest

Jordan Laurent Noeuku is student at Morehouse College. He is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Atlanta West End, Fayetteville and Midtown Atlanta. This sponsorship has reignited a 21-year old flame between GRSP and Morehouse College!

Jordan was born and raised in Yaounde, Cameroon. He credits his family's love, guidance, and shared experiences for shaping his values of empathy and generosity, fueling his aspirations for personal and professional growth, and inspiring him to strive for a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Jordan has a special interest in learning new coding languages and intends to pursue a career in software engineering.

Jordan enjoys hiking, playing basketball, listening to music and hanging out with my friends during social events.

In high school, Jordan was the president of the BSU (Black Student Union), NAACP Youth Council Vice President. In college, Jordan has been Secretary of a college Ping Pong Club and a college tennis team player. Jordan was on the Dean's list for the academic year 2021-2021 and 2022-2023, and received the Jessy Cortez 2021 scholarship award from his high school.

One of Jordan's goals is to become a role model for and encourage his siblings and many other children around the world to pursue their education. He plans to earn a Masters Degree and PhD in computer science. He wants to bring about development and technological advancement to remote parts of the World, including his home country Cameroon by creating Apps like Uber for use in those countries.

Jordan is a member of Friendship Baptist church in Atlanta, Georgia and was a volunteer for the Third Baptist Freedom School in San Francisco, California.
